THUGS(red) Threat Screensaver
A native macOS screensaver: a slowly rotating Metal-rendered 3D globe lit up with public threat-intelligence feeds — CISA KEV, DShield, AbuseIPDB — plus session stats and an optional dark ambient soundtrack.
A macOS screensaver built as a threat observatory rather than a fish tank: a native SceneKit/Metal globe with glowing country beacons, pulse animations and source-to-target arcs, driven by public feeds — CISA's Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog and SANS ISC/DShield need no key, AbuseIPDB and a custom authenticated JSON feed are opt-in. A control-room panel tracks feed health, uptime and session totals, and an entirely offline cinematic mode replays clearly labelled synthetic events when nothing is configured. Keys are supplied through a native Options sheet backed by macOS Keychain, HTTPS-only. Ships with an optional ten-track dark ambient soundtrack, a 60fps cap with an energy-saver mode, and Developer ID signed, notarized builds for Apple Silicon and Intel. Early-stage: the working prototype builds and runs, but long-running multi-monitor operation and System Settings hosting still need validation.
